The strong characters, the pioneers, the go-getters

"The thing that stands out for me is the people. The strong characters, the pioneers, the go-getters. Some of them don’t realise that’s what they are. But they’ve made such changes, such impact on the industry." These are the words of past chairman, Gillian Rutter. And it’s true. PASMA could not have achieved the things it has achieved without people – people who not only believe in the importance of tower safety but who go out of their way to make it happen. This includes the people who volunteer their time to act as chair of the association, the pioneers and champions who have driven us forward, and our members who embody the spirit of tower safety every day. To mark our 50th anniversary, PASMA presented commemorative gifts to the individuals and groups who have played the biggest role in PASMA’s achievements. The group gifts were collected by a representative who is a shining example of what it means to be a member of that group. The gift was a quaich, a cup of friendship and a traditional gift in Scotland, where PASMA’s head office is based, to mark events of special significance. They were presented to:

The gifts were presented by Moira Cameron, a retired Yeoman Warder of the Tower of London. THANK YOU to the people who make PASMA!
