A large deck tower is an arrangement of towers and platforms that have been joined together at their sides and ends. They come together to create a spacious working area that provides access to a whole ceiling, for example for painting or electrical work.

PASMA Large Deck Towers for Users will equip you with the specialist knowledge you need to work safely with large deck towers. Spend one day at an approved PASMA training centre with an expert instructor and go back to work knowing:

  • How to safely assemble, dismantle, alter and move large deck towers

Using a combination of theory and practical work, this course builds on your existing tower knowledge by introducing new techniques for joining towers and platforms both end-on and side-on. You will also be introduced to new enabling components, such as bridge beams and step through end frames.

On successfully completing the theory and practical segments of the course, you’ll receive a new PASMA PhotoCard and Certificate that includes this qualification. You’ll see a new category on your card, ‘A9’ which means you’re now trained on large deck towers.
