PASMA partners with other non-commercial organisations across the world who share our tower safety goals. By becoming an affiliate member, the organisations listed below have committed to work with PASMA to increase access to safe equipment, quality training and expert guidance for those who work with access towers. Through collaboration and sharing good practice, together we can do more to reduce work at height accidents and fatalities.
Master Builders Association North is the representative association for the building industry in the South African Provinces of Gauteng, North West, Mpumalanga and Limpopo. Its members are held to a Code of conduct and ethics, good workmanship and compliance to Construction Regulations, thus providing their customers with confidence in all relevant target markets, from architectural professionals and developers to homeowners. MBA North’s mission is to provide quality services that matter to members; facilitate best practice within the association and the building industry; build teams and network platforms that make a difference; and to enable exceptional quality through sustainable transformation.
SOUTH AFRICA
The Vereniging van Steiger-hoogwerk-en Betonbekistingsbedrijven (VSB) was formed in 1979 as an association to centralise safety regulations and working practices for scaffolding, over time this evolved to cover the full work at height arena.
The VSB are a membership organisation focused on the safety of work at height activities. The VSB has been central to development of safe practices on any working at height method in professional surroundings. It Has been key in developing and co-authoring safety practices issued by the ministry of Health and safety (SZW).
The VSB incorporates Manufacturers, Legislators, Users and Sellers into work groups to achieve a safer workplace for all involved.
