PASMA talks tower versatility with ATLAS
26/10/23 - PASMA was invited along to an ATLAS members’ meeting in Newcastle in September, where we were represented by Darren Verschuren (HSS). ATLAS members are involved in steeplejack and lightning protection work, so working at height is a daily occurrence for them.
Darren updated them on the range of standard configuration towers available, the applicable standards, safe assembly methods and of course the training required to work with these structures.
He also explained the steps needed to check the validity of an operative's PASMA card and assess their training level and category.
He ended the presentation by answering members' questions and encouraging them to ensure their tower-using staff obtain PASMA training.
PASMA training for operatives and managers is available through our network of training members.
