PASMA goes to Safety, Health & Wellbeing LIVE
21/2/23 - Why do falls from height still cause so many workplace fatalities?
That was the topic up for discussion when PASMA's Jason Carlton took part in a panel session at Safety, Health & Wellbeing LIVE in Manchester on 15 February.
The HSM Knowledge Hub was packed with safety professionals and delegates who manage a significant amount of work at height, including on towers.
Alongside Hannah Williams (No Falls Foundation) and Peter Upcott (Guardian), Jason answered questions about avoiding working at height, preventing falling objects and the repeal of the Work at Height Regulations, among other topics.
This was a lively event and a great opportunity to promote the ongoing engagement work PASMA is doing in the industry.
