Delegates at PASMA Conference 2019 saw towers used in smart, innovative ways in an outdoor showcase – from the simplest podiums and mobile access towers, onto more complex structures involving cantilevers, bridges and stairs and finally, non-standard configurations that are built to specification by Professional Riggers. We recommend that you only ever use approved PASMA Hire & Assembly members for any assembly, modification or dismantling of advanced tower builds.
PASMA Manufacturer members produce and distribute mobile tower equipment that has third party certification to EN1004 from a UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) or EA (European Co-Operation on Accreditation) Approved Body. Tower show case made the event! Very good and informative and able to ask questions to competent people who knew the benefits and limitations of the equipment.
Having worked in the construction industry for many years I though that I knew the breadth of and versatility of towers. Attending some of the sessions such as the one by Stephen Kane and the Tower Showcase in the courtyard broadened my knowledge of their applications.

I really liked seeing all of the different towers on display. Being a freelance instructor I don't really get the chance to play with the less common builds.
The structures assembled in the square within the hotel complex worked really well as a showcase and the courtyard was ideal for this.
