PASMA was the driving force in the production of BS1139 part 6 with Tony Williams, Ken Richardson and Paul Pritchard playing important roles in its drafting. It was finally launched in 2000’s and was introduced to give more legitimacy to the many structures built out of tower components that fell outside the scope of the British Standard BSEN1004. Specifically, structures such as façade scaffolds, tall towers, cantilevers, pavement frames, walk through frames and linked towers.
