Novice Instructor Mentoring

Applications invited for Lead Instructors

Applications are invited from suitably qualified PASMA Instructors to fulfil a crucial role in the Association by initially contributing to the mentoring of novice PASMA Instructors.

In line with PASMA's objective to raise standards for novice Instructor training and assessment, additional Lead Instructors will be recruited on a geographical basis, we now invite applications from suitably qualified instructors based in London, the Midlands and Ireland to support the Instructor Mentoring programme.

Training and assessment of novice instructors remains for the four key skill areas, as follows:

1. Instructional Techniques.
2. Health & Safety.
3. Mobile Access Tower Industry Specific.
4. PASMA Procedures.

however, novice instructors now have to be mentored in live training conditions on completion of the training modules.

Lead Instructor candidates will be approved PASMA Instructors with a minimum of five years' experience, and delivering at least twenty five PASMA courses per annum.  They will be expected to be able to speak with authority on all aspects of mobile access towers and their applications and be able to command the respect of their peers.  Applicants are asked to complete the attached application form, together with a CV and submit to PASMA Secretariat, marked Private & Confidential, for the attention of the Training Scheme Manager.

Successful candidates will be selected by an independent Selection Panel and will receive a daily fee when undertaking this important duty for PASMA.  It is not anticipated that Lead Instructors will need to devote any more than three days per month.

Closing Date for Applications extended to 30 September 2008
